50MM M2000 WIDE SLOT TAKE-UP EXPANSION

The 50 mm M2000 Wide Slot Take-up Expansion Bearing is Moline Bearing Company part 19151050: a mounted spherical roller bearing in the expansion position. It is fitted with a standard triple lip contact seal and a single collar, set screw locking insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing with a standard painted finish.

It carries a genuine SKF or Timken spherical roller insert, which gives it high load capacity and the most misalignment tolerance of Moline's lines. M2000 housings are made in the USA, and the units are assembled here.

It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.

Ratings

The dynamic load rating is 19,000 lbf and the static load rating is 22,500 lbf. Maximum speed is 2,400 rpm with the standard triple lip contact seal fitted, and the seal is rated for 0° to 250°F. The insert accepts up to 1.5° of angular misalignment. Set screws torque to 290 in-lbs, and the locking system holds 2,300 lbf of radial load before the insert slips on the shaft. The grease fitting is 1/8-27 NPT.

This configuration

• Expansion. This position lets the shaft move lengthwise as it heats and grows. Pair it with a non-expansion bearing at the other end. The matching non-expansion unit for this shaft size is 19251050.
• Standard Triple Lip Contact Seal. Three lips in series for demanding contamination exclusion, at the cost of more running friction and heat.
• Single Collar. One locking collar secures the insert to the shaft. Standard for unidirectional rotation and steady loads.
• Set Screw Locking. Set screws in the collar bite into the shaft. Simple and widely used; best where rotation is in one direction.
