The UC 205-15 15⁄16" Normal Duty UC Ball Bearing Insert is Moline Bearing Company part 15400015: a single-row deep groove ball bearing with a spherical ground outside diameter, set screw locking and a single collar. It is sold on its own as a replacement for a worn insert in a housing that is still serviceable, or assembled into a Moline housing as a complete unit.

The insert is a single-row deep groove ball bearing with a spherical ground outside diameter that seats in a matching spherical seat in the housing, so the unit self-aligns at mounting. The inner ring is through-hardened in the raceway and left soft where the set screws seat, so they can be tightened without cracking the ring. These units are manufactured overseas for Moline Bearing Company to the quality standard set by the bearing industry, at a lower price.

This insert is the bearing in Moline's Normal Duty UC 2-bolt pillow block, 2-bolt flange, 4-bolt flange, piloted flange, wide slot take-up units for a 15⁄16" shaft, and in any UC-style (set screw locking) housing of the same size.
