UCPX15-47 2-15/16 MEDIUM DUTY BALL BEARING 2-BOLT PILLOW BLOCK SET SCREW LOCKING WITH STAINLESS STEEL COATING

The 2 15⁄16" Medium Duty UCX 2-Bolt Pillow Block Bearing is Moline Bearing Company part 29421215SS: a mounted ball bearing unit. It has a set screw locking insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing.

The insert is a single-row deep groove ball bearing with a spherical ground outside diameter that seats in a matching spherical seat in the housing, so the unit self-aligns at mounting. The housing is heavier than the Normal Duty line for the same shaft size, for more load. These units are manufactured overseas for Moline Bearing Company to the quality standard set by the bearing industry, at a lower price.

It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.

This configuration

• Fixed. The shaft is located axially at this position and cannot move lengthwise.
• Set Screw Locking. Set screws in the collar bite into the shaft. Simple and widely used; best where rotation is in one direction.

The same size is also built as 29421215 (single collar, single-lip contact seals, standard painted).
