110MM ME2000 PILOTED FLANGE EXPANSION DOUBLE COLLAR WITH GARTER SEALS
The 110 mm ME2000 Piloted Flange Expansion Bearing with Double Collar Insert and Garter Seals is Moline Bearing Company part 29131110DG: a mounted spherical roller bearing with Type E dimensions in the expansion position. It is fitted with a spring loaded garter seal and a double collar, set screw locking insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing with a standard painted finish.
It carries a genuine SKF or Timken spherical roller insert in a solid cast iron housing with an integrated center support, so it gives spherical-roller misalignment and expansion capability in a Type E footprint. ME2000 housings are made in the USA, and the units are assembled here.
It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.
Ratings
The dynamic load rating is 91,700 lbf and the static load rating is 126,000 lbf. The insert accepts up to 1.5° of angular misalignment. Set screws torque to 1,325 in-lbs, and the locking system holds 11,000 lbf of radial load before the insert slips on the shaft. The grease fitting is 1/8-27 NPT.

This configuration
- Expansion. This position lets the shaft move lengthwise as it heats and grows. Pair it with a non-expansion bearing at the other end. The matching non-expansion unit for this shaft size is 29231110DG.
- Spring Loaded Garter Seal. A contact seal with a garter spring keeping constant lip pressure on the shaft, holding its seal as the lip wears.
- Double Collar. Two locking collars share the clamping load, improving holding power under reversing rotation or shock.
- Set Screw Locking. Set screws in the collar bite into the shaft. Simple and widely used; best where rotation is in one direction.
