110MM ME2000 4-BOLT FLANGE EXPANSION WITH GARTER SEALS

The 110 mm ME2000 4-Bolt Flange Expansion Bearing with Garter Seals is Moline Bearing Company part 29111110G: a mounted spherical roller bearing with Type E dimensions in the expansion position. It is fitted with a spring loaded garter seal and a single collar, set screw locking insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing with a standard painted finish.

It carries a genuine SKF or Timken spherical roller insert in a solid cast iron housing with an integrated center support, so it gives spherical-roller misalignment and expansion capability in a Type E footprint. ME2000 housings are made in the USA, and the units are assembled here.

It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.

Ratings

The insert accepts up to 1.5° of angular misalignment. Set screws torque to 1,325 in-lbs. The grease fitting is 1/8-27 NPT.

This configuration

• Expansion. This position lets the shaft move lengthwise as it heats and grows. Pair it with a non-expansion bearing at the other end. The matching non-expansion unit for this shaft size is 29211110G.
• Spring Loaded Garter Seal. A contact seal with a garter spring keeping constant lip pressure on the shaft, holding its seal as the lip wears.
• Single Collar. One locking collar secures the insert to the shaft. Standard for unidirectional rotation and steady loads.
• Set Screw Locking. Set screws in the collar bite into the shaft. Simple and widely used; best where rotation is in one direction.
