3-7/16 M3000 WIDE SLOT TAKE-UP EXPANSION WITH LABYRINTH SEALS

The 3 7⁄16" M3000 Wide Slot Take-up Expansion Bearing with Labyrinth Seals is Moline Bearing Company part 19651307L: an Even-Lok™ mounted spherical roller bearing in the expansion position. It is fitted with a balanced steel labyrinth seal and a single collar, Even-Lok insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing with a standard painted finish.

It carries a genuine SKF® Explorer spherical roller insert and locks to the shaft with Moline's Even-Lok™ concentric system, which grips nearly 360° of the shaft instead of at set-screw points, reducing fretting and slippage. A Hex-L key for mounting and dismounting ships with it. M3000 housings are made in the USA, and the units are assembled here.

It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.

Ratings

The dynamic load rating is 65,200 lbf and the static load rating is 76,400 lbf. Maximum speed is 2,800 rpm with the balanced steel labyrinth seal fitted, and the seal is rated for 0° to 350°F. The insert accepts up to 1.5° of angular misalignment. Set screws torque to 1,325 in-lbs. The grease fitting is 1/8-27 NPT.

This configuration

• Expansion. This position lets the shaft move lengthwise as it heats and grows. Pair it with a non-expansion bearing at the other end. The matching non-expansion unit for this shaft size is 19751307L.
• Balanced Steel Labyrinth Seal. A non-contact seal using a maze-like gap rather than a rubbing lip. No friction and no lip wear, so it suits high speed and high temperature.
• Single Collar. One locking collar secures the insert to the shaft. Standard for unidirectional rotation and steady loads.
• Even-Lok. Moline's concentric locking system, which clamps the insert evenly around the shaft rather than at set-screw points. Improves concentricity and holding power versus set screws.

Replacement parts

The bearing insert is ABSY 22218-307. Open end cap 18621307 and closed end cap 18620307 fit this housing.
