The 1" Type E 2-Bolt Pillow Block Non-Expansion Bearing with Labyrinth Seals is Moline Bearing Company part 19321100L: a mounted tapered roller bearing in the non-expansion position. It is fitted with a balanced steel and Teflon labyrinth seal and a double collar, set screw locking insert, in a solid Class 30 cast iron housing with a standard painted finish.

It carries a genuine Timken® Enhanced DEE tapered roller insert: case-hardened rollers and races made from vacuum-degassed steel, with a double-extended inner race, rated for high radial and thrust loads and slight angular misalignment. The housing is machined to close tolerances, and the unit is made, machined and assembled in the USA.

It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.

Ratings

The dynamic load rating is 3,810 lbf and the static load rating is 15,760 lbf. Maximum speed is 4,490 rpm with the balanced steel and Teflon labyrinth seal fitted, and the seal is rated for 0° to 350°F. The insert accepts up to 0.05° of angular misalignment. Set screws torque to 80 in-lbs, and the locking system holds 3,100 lbf of radial load before the insert slips on the shaft. The grease fitting is 1/8-27 NPT.

This configuration

  • Non-Expansion. This position holds the shaft axially. Use one non-expansion bearing per shaft to locate it lengthwise.
  • Balanced Steel and Teflon Labyrinth Seal. A labyrinth seal combining steel with a Teflon element, adding chemical resistance and a wider temperature range to a non-contact design.
  • Double Collar. Two locking collars share the clamping load, improving holding power under reversing rotation or shock.
  • Set Screw Locking. Set screws in the collar bite into the shaft. Simple and widely used; best where rotation is in one direction.

The same size is also built as 19321100 (standard V-Guard contact seal), 19321100A (single collar, standard V-Guard contact seal), 19321100AL (single collar).

Replacement parts

The bearing insert is 08125-20082. Open end cap 18601100 and closed end cap 18600103 fit this housing.

Applications

Type E units are specified where radial loads, thrust loads or both are high and misalignment is minimal.
