HC 210-32, 2 BALL BEARING ECCENTRIC INSERT
The 2" Normal Duty HC Bearing is Moline Bearing Company part 15500200-10: a mounted ball bearing unit. It has a single collar, eccentric screw locking insert, in a steel housing.
The insert is a single-row deep groove ball bearing with a spherical ground outside diameter that seats in a matching spherical seat in the housing, so the unit self-aligns at mounting. The eccentric locking collar gives a larger shaft contact area than set screws and is hard to loosen in normal use. These units are manufactured overseas for Moline Bearing Company to the quality standard set by the bearing industry, at a lower price.
It ships assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated with lithium complex grease, so it mounts straight from the box with no adjustment or cleaning.
Mounting dimensions
- Length through bore: 2.468 in
- Shipping weight: 2.05 lb
The full dimension table and the datasheet drawing are above.
This configuration
- Single Collar. One locking collar secures the insert to the shaft. Standard for unidirectional rotation and steady loads.
- Eccentric Screw Locking. An offset collar that cams against the shaft as it is rotated, then locks. Holds well in one direction of rotation and should be oriented accordingly.
Replacement parts
The bearing insert is HC 210-32.
Applications
Normal Duty ball bearing units go into lighter-load, higher-speed drives: conveying, screening, material handling, and food and beverage equipment. It is dimensionally interchangeable with industry-standard HC-series units of the same size.
