It is sold on its own as a replacement for a worn insert in a housing that is still serviceable, or assembled into a Moline housing as a complete unit.

The insert is a single-row deep groove ball bearing with a spherical ground outside diameter that seats in a matching spherical seat in the housing, so the unit self-aligns at mounting. The housing is heavier than the Normal Duty line for the same shaft size, for more load. These units are manufactured overseas for Moline Bearing Company to the quality standard set by the bearing industry, at a lower price.
